Fairytales and Happily Ever Afters...

Life is no fairytale.  We know that.

But Taylor and I have lived so many fairytale moments in the last year...we are beginning to believe that they are out there somewhere.  We are finding that if we are willing to do the work that it takes to reach a Happily Ever After, we will make it.

Now when I say work, I mean work. Taylor and I are going through a long distance relationship period at the moment and it gets longer everyday. We are both working full time and dead tired at the end of the day with only enough energy to spare for a phone call with each other before we head to bed.  And on top of work and daily tasks we are planning our wedding! It is very tiring to be so excited all the time. Haha :)

The day is June 4th, so it is coming right up! I spent all of my time after work yesterday and into midnight, scanning pictures for our slide show - it was no easy task - but needed none the less. Everyone (Thanks Momma, Rach and Staci!!) here is working on the wedding and planning, planning, planning.  I can't wait for the day to arrive and for the moment that I officially can be called a Reed.

I must gush for a moment: I am so blessed to have Taylor in my life, I feel like the luckiest woman in the world that he loves me and wants to marry me and looks forward to eternity with me. So many of our Fairytale moments have happened because Taylor, my charming prince, has saved me from so many towers and helped me to fight away so many of my dragons.  I would still be locked away behind hundreds of doors of  that tallest tower if it weren't for him, continually and patiently, putting on his shining armor and saving my life.  I love him more than I could ever put into words.

This last year of us dating has gone by so fast, I sometimes wonder if it has happened at all. But then I just look at those millions of texts from Taylor on my phone and read his sweet words; see all of the pictures documenting our journey so far; hear his wonderful voice tell me he loves me; see my beautiful ring on my finger and know that it all happened...every bit of it. And I really do get to marry him!

Life is no fairytale. We know that.

Life is hard and messy and gross and dark and stinky and mean etc.

But the sweet, blissful moments of relief we find with each other are making us believe that there just may be a Happily Ever After, after all.

Happiness,

Kels & Tay
